Effective July 20, 2026
This page explains how to stop Ideal AI from accessing a connected account and how to have any data we have stored deleted. It applies to the Instagram and Facebook accounts that a business owner explicitly connects and authorizes so our system can help read and respond to the comments and messages on those accounts.
If you connected your Instagram or Facebook account, you can disconnect it at any time from your dashboard. Disconnecting immediately revokes our access — from that moment we can no longer read comments or messages on your account, and no new data is collected. Disconnecting stops future access but does not, on its own, remove data we already stored; to delete that, follow the request steps below.
To delete data we have already stored, email
[email protected] with the subject line
Delete My Data. Please include the name or handle of the account the request
concerns so we can locate the right records. If you email us from, or clearly identify, the
account owner's contact on file, that helps us verify the request quickly.
Once we receive and verify your request, we permanently delete the data we have stored for that account — including saved comments, messages, and the profile context (such as public names and handles) tied to them — within 30 days. When the deletion is complete, we send a confirmation to the email address that made the request. We may retain the minimum information required to comply with the law or to keep a record that a deletion request was fulfilled.
You can also trigger deletion from the platform side. In your Facebook or Instagram settings, under Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites), find Ideal AI and choose Remove. Using Facebook's "Remove App" flow revokes our access and signals us to delete the data we hold for your account under the same 30-day process described above.
If you have any questions about deleting your data, email [email protected]. For more on how we handle information, see our Privacy Policy.
